These Halo Single Player Screens are Nostalgia Updated

by Eric Frederiksen | October 17, 2014October 17, 2014 11:30 am PDT

Earlier this week we got a look at some of the multiplayer action we’re going to be seeing in Halo: The Master Chief Collection next month. Now, though, 343 Industries is shining a spotlight on the single player mode.

These screenshots are from the first three Halo games, with many being from Halo 2 in particular. With Halo: Combat Evolved having its remaster out on Xbox 360 and Halo 3 being Xbox 360 native itself, Halo 2 is the only game in the series still stuck back in the original Xbox era.

Halo 2 marks the real birth of Xbox Live and what many consider to be the high point of the series, so of the four games packed onto the disc, this is the most anticipated for many players.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection hits Xbox One on November 11.
