Apple Pay Launches Oct. 20, Get Ready to Pay With Your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Apple just revealed that its mobile payment service, which takes advantage of NFC chips in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, will officially go live in the United States on Monday, Oct. 20.

Apple has retail partners ready to go and said that it has added more than 500 additional banks since Apple Pay was announced. Apple is expected to announce new iPads today, too, and it may work with those products if NFC is built-in. We’ll find out soon, and will be sure to test Apple Pay as soon as we can and report back with more.
