Google just announced the Nexus 6 in a blog post on Wednesday. The device will officially be available fore pre-order in late October and in stores in November, Google said. It will ship on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon but Google warns “rollout will be subject to certification completion and will vary.”
The Nexus 6 is equipped with a 5.96-inch 2560 x 1440-pixel display with 493ppi, a 3,2220mAh battery, a 13-megapixel camera with OIS, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU, either 32GB of 64GB of onboard storage and more. It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box when it launches.
The Nexus 6 will ship starting for $649 unlocked but U.S. carriers have not yet announced subsidized carrier pricing. Stay tuned for additional information.
