If you still want to live life like Tom Cruise in Minority Report with your Xbox One, but you bought the console sans Kinect, you can now officially dive into the version two of controllerless motion control with a standalone purchase.

Kinect 2.0 is officially on sale, and it comes bundled with Dance Central Spotlight for $149.99. The game comes as a download code, so all that’s in the box physically is the new Kinect.

Personally, I’m completely over the motion control movement in games. I like my titles bound to classic controllers, and it only took me half a console generation to realize this. With that said, when the Kinect works for me on my Xbox One, it’s nice. Especially during football games when I need to switch between three or four channels on the fly.

That’s right, I need to be able to do that. I’m keeping track of my fantasy team, Sloppy Duck Butter, as I tangle with the likes of Rumble From the Grundle and The Fleshy Fumble. My friends and I are weird, I know.

Anyhow, the Kinect is available now for purchase from all sorts of retailers, though we saw it first at the Microsoft Store.

What did you name your fantasy football team? Don’t lie to me!
