Apple is expected to unveil several new products on Thursday during a press event in San Francisco. It’s probable we’ll see at least the iPad Air 2 and possibly a new iPad mini with Retina, both likely outfitted with Touch ID and new processors. Additionally, several reports have suggested Apple has a new iMac with Retina Display ready to show the world.
MacRumors said Tuesday that it has learned that Apple’s supply partners are already shipping “mass quantities of [a] new product into the U.S.” and that Apple is gearing up to launch said product on Oct. 24. MacRumors surmises that it’s at least one of the new iPad models, perhaps the iPad Air 2. We think it’s also plausible it could be something else entirely, like the aforementioned new iMacs, but we don’t know.
Apple will no doubt share the release dates for each new product it unveils on Thursday, so we’ll know what these huge shipments are soon.
