Destiny has been out just over a month, and Bungie has published some numbers to celebrate.
If you had any concerns about finding people to play raids with, don’t worry – Destiny is averaging 3.2 million players a day right now. Those players are typically in the game for about 3 hours across one or two sessions.
The team says also “over the past three weeks, we’ve had more players online in Destiny than we did during the same span for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach combined.” If nothing else, this is a good indicator of how much online gaming has grown, with Halo 3 being a massive launch at the time of its release.
Are you part of the 3.2 million players still logging in for a few hours most days?
