Samsung has two new advertisements for the Galaxy Note 4 and, perhaps a bit surprisingly, they don’t poke fun at any of the company’s competitors. Instead, the ads focus on what Samsung believes are some of the highlights of its new flagship phablet that’s about to launch in the United States this month.
In one commercial, Samsung says, “this is not a screen,” referring to the sharp Quad HD display on the Note 4. Instead, Samsung says it’s a “window, or two” for multitasking, or a front-row seat for movies that you’re playing on the device. The ad also highlights the Galaxy Note 4’s low-light camera performance and note-taking abilities. In the second clip, also released Wednesday, Samsung discusses the S Pen. “This is not a pen, it’s a pair of scissors,” the ad says, highlighting the S Pen’s cropping and pasting abilities.
Both ads do a pretty good job showing what you can do with the Galaxy Note 4, which we’re excited to try out when it hits the market on Oct. 17.
