Apple Oct 2014 Invite

As expected, Apple has announced for an event for Oct. 16 where we expect to see the launch of the iPad Air 2.

The Oct. 16 date has been floating around for a few weeks now, and not it has been confirmed by Apple’s latest invitation. The invite simply states “It’s been way too long” and is accompanied by a rainbow-colored Apple logo. It gives no hints to what we may see, but with the leaked images of an iPad Air 2 this morning, it’s not too difficult to guess.

Beyond Apple’s flagship tablet, rumors have been circulating of an update for the iPad mini, a new 27-inch iMac with a Retina display, the launch date for OS X Yosemite and possibly some news iOS 8.1.

The event will be held on the Apple Campus in the Town Hall auditorium beginning at 10 a.m. Pacific. TechnoBuffalo will have coverage throughout the day, so be sure to tune in.
