Well, we certainly have lots of Super Smash Bros. news to share today. We’ve already written about the Nov. 21 release date in North America. Then there’s the news that Smash on the 3DS has sold 2.8 million worldwide already. Now, from Nintendo UK, we have a fresh Smash for Wii U trailer.
If you don’t live in Europe, you can disregard the dates fired off in the trailer above. North American gamers will see Smash on the Wii U on Nov. 21. They’ll also see the first set of amiibo on the same day, though the second set will come in December without an exact release date for the states.
Having dumped close to 40 hours into Smash on the 3DS already, I can safely say that there are three major things for the Wii U version that have me excited for November. First, I will be scoring the GameCube adapter and using my Wavebird. Second, I’m pumped to have these battles on a big screen with friends in same room. Third, I’m excited for some new stages.
Are you looking forward to Smash on the Wii U? Which platform will you prefer to do battle on this holiday?
