All The GameCube Secrets You (Probably) Didn’t Know

YouTube channel Did You Know Gaming is once again your one-stop-shop for all sorts of bizarre gaming facts – this time it’s the Nintendo GameCube in the spotlight.

Some of the better known facts are that the Nintendo GameCube are it was the first system from Nintendo to launch without a Mario game and that holding down the Z button on start-up changes the sounds that play along with the animated GameCube logo.

Lesser known items include that holding down four Z buttons produces yet another set of sounds, a motion controller was in development for the GameCube, and that some guy dressed up as a Pikmin character and ate worms and crickets in order to win a GameCube (and $5,000).
