The first Big Hero 6 trailer made a great first impression, and the second is even better. Based on the team appearing in Marvel Comics, Big Hero 6 follows Hiro Hamada and his robot Baymax as they uncover a criminal plot. That’s the gist of it anyway.
Plot aside, it looks like the film is going to rock regardless of what’s happening; the animation is gorgeous, and the humor is so good I couldn’t stop smiling. Seriously, how can a robot who looks like the Marshmallow Man be so charming? That’s the magic of Disney.
If it’s anything like Disney’s most recent work, Big Hero 6 will surely wind up being one of this year’s best films. Based on the trailers alone, it looks like one of those things you won’t be able to help but love. I know this is a kid’s movie, but I’m probably looking forward to it more than its intended audience. Just watch the trailer and you’ll see why I’m so excited.
Big Hero 6 hits theaters on Nov. 7.
