LG Takes Predictable (But Funny) Shot At Bending iPhone Controversy

The #bendgate hashtag is officially trending on various social networks, and competitors are taking predictable shots at Apple. A thin phone that bends when enough pressure is applied? It’s the new Antennagate. Apple’s competitors have come out in full force to mock the iPhone 6 Plus’s frail new design, and one from LG in particular is pretty darn clever.

Multiple reports across the Internet have claimed Apple’s latest big phone doesn’t have the greatest durability; some phones are supposedly bending when placed in a front pocket, which is a common place to put a phone.

In the meantime, the punches will be thrown as more users come forward with #bendgate horror stories. Even KitKat is jumping into the action. LG already won, though. Aluminum bends when enough pressure is applied—even expensive electronics like the iPhone 6 Plus. But that seems to be the least of Apple’s worries right now.
