Capcom Reminds Us deep down Still Exists with a New Trailer

by Eric Frederiksen | September 19, 2014

The newest trailer for Capcom’s upcoming free-to-play dungeon crawler, deep down, gives us a bit more of a look at the game’s future science fiction aspects and also serves as a reminder that the game does, in fact, still exist.

The game, in development at Capcom Online Games, was originally slated for this year, but wasn’t up for show or play at either E3 or Gamescom this year. Unlike so many other trailers shown at TGS, this one is dubbed in English and subtitled in Japanese, suggesting that the western markets could be a focus for the game.

The combat in the trailer continues to look like a blend between games like Dragon’s Dogma, Dark Souls, and Monster Hunter. it’s still unclear just when the game is coming out, and we don’t have any details on how the free-to-play aspects will work, but the title continues to keep our attention.
