SWERY’s D4 Gets Surprising Xbox One Release Date… Tomorrow!

by Joey Davidson | September 18, 2014

D4, or Dark Dreams Don’t Die, was originally unveiled as an Xbox One exclusive before the console’s launch. This game comes from Hidetaka SWERY Suehiro, the same lead behind crazy titles like Deadly Premonition and Spy Fiction.

SWERY has his own sense of personality, humor and tone, and that spreads into his crazy and odd games. D4 is meant to be played on the Xbox One with the Kinect (though it does work with just a controller), and it tells the tale of a detective tracking down his wife’s killer.

The even crazier thing here? After being pretty silent after E3, we finally have an official release date for D4. Microsoft announced it this morning on Xbox Wire, the game is coming out on September 19th, 2014.

Sept…. 19th…. 2014. Wait a minute, that’s tomorrow. Surprise, fools!

D4 will be available starting tomorrow on the Xbox One for $14.99. It’s going to be nuts, and we’ll be all over it. Check the launch trailer and the gallery of images above.
