Misfit on Tuesday introduced its latest wearable, the Misfit Flash, which follows in the footsteps of the original Misfit Shine. It’s the first wearable from the company with a super affordable price tag. It will retail for just $49.99 when it hits the market in October.

The Misfit Flash is waterproof up to 30 meters and will launch in seven colors, including black, white, pink, green, blue, blue/gray and red. Like the Shine, it doesn’t require charging and uses its own battery and can be worn on the wrist or attached to clothing or other accessories, like a keychain, to keep track of steps, calories burned, distance traveled, sleep quality and swimming/cycling workouts. The Misfit Flash will work with iOS and Android phones. The Misfit Shine just gained support for Windows Phone, though there’s no word if the Misfit Flash will also support that platform, too.

Hit the source to pre-order your Flash now. If you miss out, you’ll be able to pick one up from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and other outlets starting in October.
