Recognize the UI on this Moto 360? It’s from GoldenEye 007!

Moto 360 James Bond

Motorola’s line-up of Moto 360 smartwatches has been available in America for only a week, and already a fan has created the interface every owner should be using. Indeed, the world’s greatest secret agent used the exact same interface in the mid 90s back when he was running and gunning through places like Facility, Bunker, and Silo.

James Bond’s watch interface from the smash hit GoldenEye 007 has been uploaded to the Google Play store by a genius fan, and it is available for free. Relive the days of pressing pause back during the height of the Nintendo 64’s popularity. Seeing this menu gave my swollen, teary eyes a chance to relax, because when I really got into GoldenEye 007 as a boy, I forced myself not to blink.

All I see when glancing at this watch face is a sign of relief.

Not only does this “Secret Agent Watchface” perfectly capture the look of the menu screen, but it also has a practical use with the blue shield meter representing the battery life. Better pick up some of that body armor when it gets too low! No laser option, sadly, but a future update will allow the life bar to represent your daily step count.

Overall, it’s also pretty stylish too. I wouldn’t be too embarrassed or feel too much like a nerd having a watch that looked like that. One can only hope that it plays this music all day long too.
