The iPhone 6 will start at $199 with a new two-year contract and 16GB of storage. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 Plus will set you back at least $299 if you buy the entry level model. But what about contract free? The Apple Store is now live, and a quick look at the pricing for off contract with T-Mobile reveals that you’re going to have to be ready to cough up a fair amount of change.
In fact, the 16GB iPhone 6 is priced at $649 off contract, while the iPhone 6 Plus will set you back $749 off contract. That’s not exactly chump change, but you can expect to pay it off over the course of two years if you choose some of the carrier’s early upgrade pricing options. Plus, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are arguably the best iPhone devices to launch so far, at least on paper, so iOS fans probably won’t snuff at these kind of price tags.
In any case, start saving your pennies if you don’t want to get locked down on a contract come September 19.
