iPhone 6 Features 8-Megapixel iSight Camera, Digital Image Stablization

iPhone 5s - Silver - Camera

The iPhone 6, which Apple just introduced today, features plenty of new hardware, but the company also announced an 8-megapixel iSight camera for its flagship smartphone. It’s an improvement over the camera on the iPhone 5s (pictured above), with an all-new sensor, digital image stabilization and f/2.2 aperture.

Apple said the advancement is now with “focus pixels,” which also features “phase detection” auto focus—that amounts to about twice as fast as the last generation. Apple showed quite a few sample shots off at its event, and they expectedly look gorgeous, though they’re produced in a controlled environment.
