Apple is delving into Apple Watch features right now, and it looks like the new smartwatch will indeed be able to measure your heart rate while you wear it. The company also said it’s developed a brand new S1 chip to power the new device.

The Apple Watch also offers a totally new iOS interface designed to fit the new device’s tiny screen and a “digital crown” for zooming in and out or scrolling through apps. Apple also introduced a new messaging feature that lets you communicate directly between Apple Watches. You can ping your friends with a simple tap, send a drawing or even send your heart rate.

We’ve got tons more coverage of the Apple Watch and everything else the company announced today on our homepage. See you there.
