While Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6 isn’t much of a secret, the device’s actual name has been kept tightly under wraps. Will it be the iPhone 6 Air and iPhone 6 Pro, which was suggested by marketing material leaked by China Telecom? According to Macotakara, the 4.7-inch iPhone will simply be called the iPhone 6, while the 5.5-inch model will have a more glamorous name: iPhone 6 Plus.

As 9to5Mac points out, Apple has yet to use the “Plus” moniker for a product before, so this would be a first. Many rumors have suggested Apple’s larger model will be the company’s more premium version, coming with a 128GB storage option and possibly sapphire glass. Beyond that, the “iPhone 6 Plus” might also feature landscape abilities, along with a “one-handed” mode, though that latter feature could also be available on the 4.7-inch model.

Macotakara accurately predicted the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c names last year, so the report could be onto something. Over the past few months, we’ve seen much less of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6, and a lot more of the 4.7-inch model, so the larger model might be much more of a surprise when it’s finally announced.

In addition to the actual names, we’re expecting other big announcements to drop at tomorrow’s event, including Apple’s much talked about mobile payment service, and even an early glimpse at the iWatch (or whatever it’ll be called). We’ll be right there on the show floor, so stay tuned for all the Apple news you can handle.
