Corroborating a report from the end of June, iGen.fr claims both new iPhone 6 models will launch on Sept. 19. That date falls on a Friday, and is about a week and a half after Apple’s Sept. 9 event. No word about an iPad 2 Air, and there aren’t any further details about the iWatch, which Re/code previously reported won’t launch until sometime in early 2015.

It’s starting to appear that the Sept. 19 date is likely for the 4.7-inch model, though we’re still unconvinced about the 5.5-inch iteration, which previous reports have suggested has hit production issues and will launch later. These have only just been rumors, however, and we have seen some 5.5-inch iPhone 6 parts leak over the past few weeks. Chances are the device will be available, but in very limited quantities.

Another recent report from Macotakara claimed the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could be known as the “iPhone 6 Plus” when it’s officially unveiled; the 4.7-inch model, meanwhile, will simply be known as the iPhone 6. Whatever the case, we’ll learn all about it at Apple’s event tomorrow, where we’re also expecting to see Apple’s iWatch and an iPar Air 2.
