Kingdom Hearts 2 (2)

Like ever other major Japanese publisher, Square Enix has a line-up at Tokyo Game Show 2014 in Chiba, Japan. Also like everyone else, it has solidified its selection.

We already knew that Bravely Second on the Nintendo 3DS was going to make a playable appearance, but what about Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and the rest of the classic Square Enix major players?

See the full list below.

Any standouts? Absolutely! I’m not totally sure if it’s a quality game or not just yet, but the free-to-play Rise of Mana is making a leap from Android to the PS Vita. This will be the first game in Square Enix’s popular Mana series to appear on a traditional gaming platform in a very long time, so hopefully it does the source justice.

I’ve also mentioned skepticism about the game, but I’ll also definitely be going hands on with Final Fantasy Explorers. I’d like to transform into Cloud and get my hands on a few of the job classes. It’s just a shame that Final Fantasy VII: G-Bike is going to be just a trailer only. I really want to play that one.

After that, there isn’t too much I am excited for. Seeing The Evil Within in the “family corner” sounds a little frightening, though. What would you like to see covered? Tune in on September 18-22 and maybe I’ll get to it.
