Sony UK over the weekend got cheeky on Twitter by hinting at improved waterproof capabilities for its upcoming devices.

“We’ll be getting deep at IFA 2014,” the Tweet teases. “But how deep?

Sony has always been at the forefront of water resistant innovations, introducing a wide-range of extremely durable devices over the last several months. The company is rumored to have plenty of new announcements at IFA this year, some of which we’ve seen already.

Just last month Sony introduced the Xperia M2 Aqua, which has an IP65/68 waterproof rating. Sony’s Tweet suggests things could go even beyond that, but we’ll have to wait and see when the company takes the stage at IFA tomorrow. The Tweet suggests a depth greater than 2 meters, which makes me wonder: how deep do your gadgets need to go?
