Koei Tecmo is bringing the ladies of the Dead or Alive fighting series into the next-generation with an upgraded port of Dead or Alive 5.
Wait, there are guys in this series, too?
With a title like Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, I think its safe to assume that this is the last we’ll be seeing of this fighting game before Koei Tecmo develops a new one, and it’s not a moment too soon either. Rival Bandai Namco has shown it is ready to exponentially evolve with Tekken 7, and Capcom is already in the thinking process of how it will be handling Street Fighter for the new consoles.
You don’t want to get left in the past while the competition moves forward, do you?
Koei Tecmo showed off a teaser trailer for the new version, which you can see above, but no further details were provided on a release date or an American localization. This will be the third version of the game to see a release following the original launch in 2012 and Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate in 2013.
