If you’ve never heard of Titan Souls, here’s the skinny. This game tasks a single hero with searching out bosses in an open world. It doesn’t matter the order, he just needs to find them.
Once he does find them, he needs to kill them. He only has one arrow, which must be retrieved after every shot, and he only has one health point. One shot, one hit.
Developer Acid Never made the game for Ludum Dare 28, a short contest with the theme “You Only Get One.” Titan Souls won some recognition through the jam.
You can actually play the version of the title that was in the aforementioned contest right here. It’s different than what we’ll be playing next year when the full game releases, but it should give you a sense of the game’s spirit.
Now, this effort is bound for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC platforms in early 2015.
