Twin Peaks’ Opening Sequence Recreated with Retro Graphics

I’ve been a fan of Twin Peaks even since I was a kid. That probably explains just a few things about me.

But I’ve long thought that the premise for the show could make for a great adventure game, and the strange characters would fit in perfectly. A few years ago, Deadly Premonition probably got as close to nailing Twin Peaks‘ trademark feel as we’ll ever see.

All the same, I love this recreation of the cult favorite show’s opening sequence by YouTube channel Filthy Frackers. It feels like it would fit right into an early 90s Sierra adventure game. I can see Special Agent Dale Cooper’s inventory in my mind already: a donut, killer piece of cherry pie, a fine cup of coffee (hot), Diane, fish combined with percolator, a bucket of stones, and a map of Tibet.

No, I’ve never thought about this before, why would you say that?
