Nokia Lumia 830 Revealed in Fresh Photos

Earlier this month we got a first look at the upcoming Lumia 830. Now we’re learning a bit more about the device thanks to leaked certification photos from Anatel, which approves new phones in Brazil similar to what the FCC does here in the U.S.

As expected, it looks like the Lumia 830 will put an emphasis on its camera. The phone’s rear shooter actually looks a lot like the hump-backed Lumia 1020, though the lower number has us thinking this Windows Phone could be a bit cheaper. The Lumia 830 also comes with a dedicated camera button and capacitive buttons just like we saw on the 1020.

Earlier reports suggest the Lumia 830 could actually be pretty powerful device. The exact specs are still a mystery, but we’re expecting a 4.5-inch or 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720p or possibly even 1080p along with a Snapdragon 800 or 801 processor. We’re also assuming it will run the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1.

We’re definitely starting to get a clearer sense of what to expect from the Lumia 830, and with Microsoft set to unveil at least one new device next month at IFA it probably won’t be too long before we get an official look. The company’s also expected to announce a selfie-focused Lumia 730 smartphone, so there’s plenty to be excited about for any Windows Phone fans out there looking to upgrade to a new device.
