Every time LOOT Entertainment, the developers behind this particular title, takes to the PlayStation Blog to talk The Last Tinker: City of Colors, it talks about how it’s hoping to revive the 3D platformer genre.
That’s cool with me, right folks? I’ve considered the PlayStation family a home for incredible platformers of the 3D ilk several times in my life, especially during the PlayStation 2’s glory days.
If LOOT is spot-on with the notion that this game will rekindle the world’s love for the 3D platforming genre, all aboard.
Of course, a little research on my part has yielded the fact that this game already released on PC for $19.99 back in May of this year. That was surprising, especially since I hadn’t even heard of the game before Sony started drumming up some press. That version of The Last Tinker: City of Colors received some solid critical praise.
PlayStation 4 owners will be able to snag the game today when the store updates. It might have already been updated as you’re reading this, so check it out.
