HTC One (M8) for Windows vs. HTC One (M8) Spec Shootout

HTC One M8 Windows vs HTC One M8

Boy that’s a mouthful of a headline, isn’t it? HTC just unveiled the HTC One (M8) For Windows today, a device that’s nearly identical to the HTC One (M8) but it runs Windows Phone instead of Android. Yep, that means the same amazing metal hardware design, the 4-Ultrapixel Duo Camera set-up on the back, the same sharp 1080p display, front-facing BoomSound speakers and, yes, event BlinkFeed.

We figured we’d bring you a spec shootout so that you can see just how identical the two devices are. One thing we do wish was added to the M8 for Windows design was a dedicated camera button, since that’s standard on most other Windows Phones, but HTC opted to keep this dead identical.

There’s one discernible difference between the two handsets that were were able to spot: the HTC One (M8) For Windows doesn’t have the barometer sensor on the HTC One (M8). Or, if it does, it’s not advertised or possibly just not active. Can you spot any other differences?
