Apple Slashes Pricing on Beats Headphones and Speakers for a Limited Time

Apple officially owns Beats now, but it’s not all bad news and firings. To celebrate the merger, Cupertino is slashing prices on the majority of its new audio products by 10 percent both online and at the Apple Store, though these deals may not last for very long.

An anonymous source tellsĀ 9to5Mac the new discount is set to expire on August 23, giving customers just under a week to take advantage of Apple’s lowered prices. The deal extends to Beats headphones, earbuds and its line of portable speakers. The only thing not covered is Beats accessories, including those goofy “Beats Pill Dude” speaker stands.

If you’ve been eyeing a set of Beats headphones or that cool-looking Pill speaker, now’s your chance to grab some gear at a pretty nice discount. Then again, it might be worth holding off for a bit. Apple’s expected to unveil a ton of new products this fall starting early next month and it’s possible we may also see an updated set of Beats headphones announced at the same time. Then again, if you just can’t wait go ahead and take advantage of today’s deal before it’s too late.
