EA Sports has a brand new full gameplay trailer for NHL 15, and it, except for that bit where Giroux scores, looks fantastic.
NHL 15 promises better arenas, more lifelike crowds, completely independent puck and jersey physics, live shot announcers and a whole lot more.
The bad news? You’ll need an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 to enjoy those things. The last generation of consoles will only see new announcers. Bummer.
Still, this is progress. The new consoles have the mustard to power the Ignite Engine, and that’s why we’re only seeing the new features on those machines.
When NHL 15 drops on Sept. 9, we’ll be all over it. Stay tuned.
