One of our favorite Google Now features is the app’s ability to know whenever we have a flight to catch the automatic updates on its status. Now the service is getting even better with a new update that can help you find a new flight if the one you planned to take is delayed or canceled.

Like the rest of Google Now, the new feature just works without much effort on your part. Google Now works behind the scenes to talk to your airline’s computers and receive the latest updates on delayed flights. If your flight isn’t running on time, the app could then search for any other options and ping you with the information.

The new update also promises to send train and bus reminders to your phone, which it’s capable of doing after scanning your inbox for itineraries. The new and improved Google Now is already available on Android. It should update automatically, but you can hit the source link below to jumpstart the process.
