I’ve seen Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel at a few events now. I even had a chance to go hands-on with the game at E3. I’ll admit it, I was a bit bummed by the last-gen nature of the game at announcement.
Since then? I’ve moved on. I know I’m getting this on PC, and I know I’ll probably enjoy it for the same reasons I enjoyed the other two Borderlands games. Tons of loot and lots of silly stuff. That’s what we show up for, right?
The fact that gravity’s low and we have oxygen fueled jet packs is only bonus stuff. Oh, and we can play as Claptrap, that too.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Oct. 4, 2014. I wonder how many groups of friends will argue over who gets to play as Claptrap the Fragtrap when it drops?
