AT&T Knocks $200 Off iPad With New iPhone Bundle Offer

AT&T on Wednesday announced a pretty solid deal for consumers looking to buy both a connected iPad and a new iPhone. This probably isn’t the best time to be buying a new iPhone, considering that Apple will very likely announce the iPhone 6 on September 9, but it’s a deal you should be aware of anyway.

The company is knocking $200 off of the purchase of a new iPad, provided that you’re also buying it with an iPhone 5s or an iPhone 5c on one of the carrier’s “Next” data plans inside of an AT&T retail store. You’ll also need to sign a new two-year wireless agreement for the iPad, though it can be added to an existing Mobile Share plan for just $10 per month.¬†AT&T said the deal applies to any iPad in store, though it recently knocked $30 off of the 16GB iPad mini with Wi-Fi + Cellular, which means you can get that tablet for $199.99 if you’re also buying an iPhone 5c or iPhone 5s on an AT&T Next plan.

It’s certainly a deal worth considering if you’re in the need for a new iPad and iPhone but, again, Apple is expected to launch its new iPhones this fall followed by new iPad Air and iPad mini devices shortly thereafter. Since this deal only applies to AT&T retail stores, it’s likely the company is ridding its stock in advance of the incoming devices.
