Microsoft Announces ScreamRide for Xbox One

Microsoft announced today a new game from Frontier called ScreamRide.

At first glance, the game looks like Rollercoaster Tycoon, but things start to get twisted pretty quickly, and the real title becomes “Everything you actually did in RollerCoaster Tycoon, except now you get points for it.”

“Your measure for success is screams,” claims the trailer, just before crashing a rollercoaster full of people into a building that disintegrates as they impact.

ScreamRide looks like a hilarious game that calls to mind things like Burnout 3‘s Crash Mode and Tony Hawk’s ‘injure the skater’ mini-games.

No price has been announced, but the style of game suggests it’ll likely be a downloadable title. The game is set for release in Spring of 2015.
