OnePlus announced a major update for the OnePlus One on Monday that it says is “slowly” rolling out to OnePlus One users now. It includes a bunch of new features, including an upgrade to Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and a new “Clear Image” feature. ClearImage, according to OnePlus, snaps 10 images and then stitches all of them together for a “super high-res photo” with reduced noise, increased detail, improved clarity and more.

Here’s a look at what’s included in the update, straight from the horse’s mouth:

  • Upgraded to Android 4.4.4
  • Updated to new versions of Google apps
  • Added Clear Image
  • Added new (colder) calibration for the screen
  • Proximity sensor prevents activation of off-screen gestures while in your pocket
  • Capacitive touch keys supported in the recovery mode
  • Increased capacitive button illumination
  • Improved overall stability
  • Fixed issues with vibration being disabled during Quiet Hours
  • Fixed lockscreen not updating the track information during music playback
  • Fixed microphone volume for all formats in the Voice Recorder app
  • Fixed “OK, Google” not triggering voice search in Google Now
  • Fixed Viber calls not working
  • Fixed battery percent not updating in custom lock screens
  • Fixed PicasaSync
  • Fixed Camera “O” gesture activating lockscreen instead of triggering camera
  • Fixed wallpapers not applying in full screen, taking the wrong size when cropping, etc

OnePlus one also said you can expect the update to fix issues with off-screen gestures and a new “cooler calibration” setting. CM 11S OTA (30O), as it’s called specifically, is rolling out now but OnePlus says the “full deployment” will occur next week.
