Guess the Phone: Come for the Design, Stay for the Software

We have so many positive things to say about this device: sound quality is top notch, design is excellent, and many people consider this company’s software skin as one of the best. But there’s one very big, very disappointing aspect that continues to hold it back: the camera. It’s by no means the worst we’ve ever seen, but there are so many other options out there that are, simply put, better.

Going back to the design: how much stock do we need to put in the materials being used? That seems to be one of the more polarizing topics in the mobile industry. The thing about it is it’s all highly subjective. One person who loves a certain design may hate another, and visa versa. Same goes for software, features, camera, etc. Someone might hate this device’s design, but love the camera. And that’s fine.

Going on a slight tangent: I use a device as my daily driver that most people probably hate, and that makes zero difference to me. For my needs, it works; what more do I need? It’s so hilarious and ridiculous how people still continue to argue about technology, whether it’s over design, features or whatever else. I guess we have nothing better to do.

What about this device do you love so much? Dislike? Did you even figure it out? I bet it took you all of five seconds to determine which device it is you see above. But it’s not just any device: this is a special edition. Don’t even get me started on special edition handsets.
