Green Lumia 1520 With Windows Phone 8.1 Hits AT&T

We heard rumors way back during Mobile World Congress that AT&T was eventually going to launch a green version of the Lumia 1520, and today the carrier made those rumors official. A matte green version of the Lumia 1520 is now available from AT&T and it comes pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1, the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft.

The green Lumia 1520 doesn’t offer anything (that we can see, anyway) that’s much different than the Lumia 1520 that launched last year. Still, that bright green hue looks pretty attractive, and we’re definitely pumped to see how it looks with the new bright green theme that launched as part of Lumia Cyan recently. Other features of Windows Phone 8.1 include the Cortana voice assistant, new support for custom backgrounds, better battery and data management features, a notification shade and more.

AT&T is selling the green Lumia 1520 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract, though you can also opt to pick one up for $29.95 per month with AT&T Next 12, $24.28 per month with AT&T Next 18, or for $584.99 without a contract.
