As a follow-up to the 2013 re-release of Tomb Raider, Square Enix will release Sleeping Dogs under its Definitive Edition line.

Sleeping Dogs was originally released in in August 2012 to generally favorable reviews across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The game tells the story of police officer Wei Shen, returning to Hong Kong from America, getting involved in the city’s organized crime families as an undercover cop.

This update will include the original game and all of its downloadable content, as well as an artbook if you preorder.┬áIf you haven’t picked up Sleeping Dogs for the previous generation of consoles or as part of a Steam sale, this version should bring the game in line with its great-looking PC edition, which included a free DirectX 11 patch for those with computers powerful enough.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is set to release, according to its Amazon listing, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 14 of this year.
