Microsoft announced this week that it will drop the price on a number of its first party Xbox One titles to $49.99.
The price change, which affects both disc and download, is already in effect on the Xbox One marketplace and the Microsoft store.
The list of titles, is all Xbox One, all first party:
- Dead Rising 3
- Forza Motorsport 5
- Kinect Sports Rivals
- Ryse: Son of Rome
Not only are all of them first party but all are launch titles as well. This price change brings the titles more in line with the prices you can see on places like Amazon, potentially making a digital purchase more appealing as more and more gamers lose interest in having to keep track of a disc.
