AT&T on Monday announced that it will offer the LG G Pad 7.0 with LTE starting on Aug. 8. The device offers relatively mid-range specs, though AT&T has some compelling prices we’ll talk about in a bit that certainly makes it more compelling.
The G Pad offers a 7-inch HD+ IPS display, a 1.2GHz processor, a large 4,000mAh battery with 10 hours of promised usage time, a 5-megapixel camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and more. It also features several of LG’s awesome software touches, like QPAir that allows you to answer your phone and send/receive text messages from your tablet, Dual Window for running two applications side-by-side, and the popular KnockCode security option.
The carrier detailed several pricing options for the G Pad 7.0. You can opt to choose a $149.99 option with a new two-year contract, or sign up for one of AT&T’s Next monthly installment plans, where you can pay $12.50 per month with $0 down at the time of purchase. Or, better yet, pick up an LG G3, G2 or G Flex and the tablet will set you back just 99 cents. Finally, you can also buy it for $250 without a contract.
