Grand Theft Auto V’s Code Reveals Zombie Single-Player DLC

It looks like there’s a possibility that Rockstar is planning some sort of Zombie DLC for Grand Theft Auto V.

YouTube user Chr0m3xMoDz did some code inspection after forcing his way into a hidden DLC selection screen in Grand Theft Auto V. The code revealed several interesting things, one of which gives some relatively solid confirmation of tentative software updates.

That is, of course, a line of code that reads “SPZombie” as a piece of DLC. As Chr0m3xMoDz infers, that means “single player zombies.”

After Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV, there’s no doubt that Rockstar has had success with doing stuff related to zombies in their games. In fact, I’d argue that the Undead Nightmare DLC for RDR is among the best in its class. Given that fact, and the slow approach of October without any single player DLC for GTA V, this rumor has earned a little more credence.

Of course, I doubt we’ll see any confirmation or denial regarding this specific link from Rockstar just yet. As more comes from the game, we’ll have it.
