Report Further Confirms Galaxy Note 4 Announcement Coming Early September

A new report from Korea Times claims—wait for it—claims that Samsung has plans to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 right before IFA kicks off this September. The company has reportedly settled on Sept. 3, two days before the festivities get underway, to show the world its fancy new smartphone. Surprised? Samsung announced its previous three entries in the Galaxy Note lineup at IFA, going back to September of 2011, so why break tradition now?

According to recent reports, Samsung’s upcoming Note 4 is shaping up to be the Android device to beat this fall. Not only will it allegedly sport a QuadHD display, but a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor (or Exynos 5433 Octa), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. But the specs may just be the half of it. The device might sport a number of crazy new features, including support for virtual reality, a UV sensor and an even more advanced S Pen.

If you thought the S5, One (M8) and G3 were big, just you wait until later this year. From the sound of it, Samsung has some major plans for the Note 4. I just wonder if it’ll come with those new materials Samsung keeps talking about.
