Train Driver Spotted Playing Farmville

by Eric Frederiksen | July 26, 2014July 26, 2014 9:00 am PST

When I’m driving, I’m driving. I don’t even change tracks on Spotify unless I’m stopped.

But the guy driving this train isn’t too worried. In fact, he seems a little bored of the steel caterpillar he sits at the head of as it makes the rounds in Mexico City.

So he passes the time playing Farmville.¬†Even if most of the train’s functions are automated, he’s there for a reason, and doing anything other than operating the train would be too much of a distraction if, say, someone stepped in front of him or an impatient car got in the way. If it was safe enough for him to do the same thing a good portion of his passengers are probably doing, the city probably wouldn’t bother paying him to sit in there.

I totally get that doing the same thing for hours gets boring, but I feel like driving a train full of people isn’t the best way to spice up Zynga’s social farm simulator.
