Up near the Silicon Valley utopia, Samsung is planning to hold its second developers conference in San Francisco this November. The Korean company teased its next big Developers Conference on its Tomorrow blog, where it expects to further explore developments in its Mobile SDK, Smart TV SDK 5.0, KNOX Enterprise, and much, much more. The official dates will be Nov. 11-13.
In October of last year, Samsung introduced a number of big SDKs to developers, further expanding the company’s ecosystem and breadth of features. In addition to the SDKs listed above, Samsung also gave developers access to its S Health SDK, Tizen SDK and Accessory SDK; it also plans to soon release an improved Samsung Mobile SDK with the Galaxy S5.
“There is absolutely no doubt Samsung has not been shy about getting close to the developer community,” the company says. “Now, here comes the next phase.”
It might not bring out the buzzing crowd of Apple’s WWDC, but it certainly attract attention among the Samsung faithful. Later this fall, we’re expecting Samsung to possibly unveil a more advanced Galaxy S5-like device, along with a Galaxy Note 4, which rumors suggest is already shaping up to be one of this year’s top contenders.
