Destiny Will Play in 1080p on Xbox One, and It Will Look Like This

Last week, Bungie clarified that the beta for Destiny will run at 1080p on the PlayStation 4 and sub-1080p on the Xbox One. The studio offered up that that it is chasing 1080p for the final Xbox One version, but that it couldn’t confirm the game’s resolution just yet.

Now, thanks to an IGN First Look, we have a bit of Xbox One gameplay for Destiny in motion at 1080p. You can see that clip above.

The beta will hit the Xbox platforms this week, and it’s still set to roll at 900p for Xbox One users. However, that’s temporary. Bungie will hit 1080p at launch, so platform preference will come down to factors beyond resolution.

Which way are you leaning for Destiny? PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? Heck, are you even planning to upgrade in time to play the game on the new generation of consoles?
