HTC One Remix Said to Hit Verizon This Week – Here are the Details

Finally, at long last, the HTC One Remix we’ve been (maybe) waiting so long for is going to launch for Verizon on Thursday, July 24. At least according to Evleaks, who dropped that date on his blog recently. We’ve been hearing about this device, which is essentially the HTC One Mini 2 with a Verizon logo emblazoned on the back, for a few weeks now. Aside from that, the device is merely getting a fancy name to go along with the tacky branding.

Since the HTC One Remix still isn’t official, there might be some service or something involved with the purchase. Or maybe the price will be too good to pass up. As it stands, users can expect to see the Remix sport a 4.5-inch 720p display, 13-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage (microSD expandable), 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and Sense 6 on top of Android 4.4.

The device, even though it’s a severely watered down version of the beloved M8, actually isn’t so bad, and offers a comfortable size, reasonable specs, and top notch build. If that’s something you can see yourself owning—and not this, which will likely be cheaper and comes with better specs—then by all means knock yourself out on Thursday. We’ll hit you with the news when the device is made official.
