Completed iPhone 6 Body Shows Embedded Apple Logo

We’ve seen our fair share of iPhone 6 leaks, that’s for sure, and we even have a dummy unit in the office that provides a good look at what we can expect when the phone launches. Now, a new set of leaked photos from uSwitch shows off the alleged completed iPhone 6 body, complete with an embedded Apple logo in the back panel. Apple typically just slaps the logo on the back of its iPhones, instead of embedding it as it does on iPads, MacRumors said.

This is right on a par with what we’ve already seen, but this may be one of our first looks at the completed product. Earlier leaks didn’t have the same polish and finish as this one, though we’re definitely not digging those intrusive antenna bands that wrap all around the back panel. Speaking of antennas, MacRumors suggests that the embedded Apple logo may actually help provide better reception. uSwitch surmises it may allow for a glowing Apple logo, though we’re not sure Cupertino is going to take that route.

Apple’s new 4.7-inch iPhone, the model you’re looking at above, is expected to launch sometime in September. Apple is allegedly working to get a 5.5-inch iPhone Air phablet out the door at the same time, though that product may be facing some delays. Here’s a look at some photos of the iPhone 6 dummy:
