Comic-Con already has a busy schedule of video game related events and panels, but chalk this one up as one of the biggest. CD Projekt RED has scheduled for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to make its first public showing during a panel at 10 a.m. on July 24.
The hour long panel will discuss the inner workings of the game, and will feature Geralt’s voice actor Doug Cockle, The Witcher: House of Glass writer Paul Tobin, Dark Horse’s Nick McWhorter, and franchise director Rafał Jaki. Many other Witcher related panels are scheduled to occur over the convention, but the live demonstration is set to begin at 11 a.m. just after the talk finishes.
“Since this is the first Comic-Con for Geralt of Rivia, we’re going the extra mile to talk to as many Witcher fans as possible, at as many places as possible,” Jaki said. “It’s a real pleasure to see The Witcher among all those comic book and movie characters we know and love.”
It’s hard to believe how the public has only seen trailers to this point. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is easily one of our most anticipated games of the new generation, but all we have seen of its magnificent open world and stylish combat have been pre-recorded clips and screenshots. This live demo is sure to shine a true light on what CD Projekt RED has been up to for the past few years.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Feb. 24, 2015.
