We already know Nokia’s Lumia 635 is on its way to AT&T, but we haven’t seen much of the handset since it was announced back in April. A post from Evleaks, however, is bringing this device back into our collective consciousness, hinting that the Lumia 635 will be released soon. Still no price, but it looks like the launch, which hasn’t been confirmed yet, is imminent.
Microsoft announced the Lumia 635 back in April, and billed it as one of the first devices to hit the market running Windows Phone 8.1. Equipped with a 4.5-inch ClearBlack display, 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage (microSD expandable), 512MB of RAM and 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, the Lumia 635 is decidedly mid-range.
But, in the Windows Phone market, a device with mid-range specs is still plenty fast, and especially with Windows Phone 8.1 onboard, it’ll be a nice option for WP fans. Windows Phone 8.1 includes features such as a new notification shade, Cortana and a more customizable experience.
In addition to AT&T getting dibs on the Lumia 635, T-Mobile and MetroPCS will also offer the handset whenever it launches. Seeing as we’re seeing it popup onto the Internet, chances are that’ll be sooner rather than later.
